What it means practically: give us the nearest recognisable landmark or gate when you book, not just a street name. It is the difference between a technician arriving on time and one calling you three times from the wrong alley.
For jobs that genuinely need a bench — board-level work, some screen replacements — the machine does have to leave. You will be told before it does, not after.

A large share of what we see in Fez is student machines: five- and six-year-old laptops, running out of space, running hot, running a mechanical hard drive.
The honest advice is unglamorous. An SSD swap plus a RAM top-up transforms one of these for a fraction of a replacement — 250 to 500 MAD in labour plus the drive. If your complaint is that the machine has become unusably slow, that is the answer, and we would rather sell you that than agree with you that it is finished.
Second most common: a dead battery on a laptop that otherwise works perfectly. Batteries for mainstream models are available; for older or unusual ones they are ordered, and Fez waits longer than Casablanca for that.
Third: a cracked screen. This is where the maths sometimes goes the other way. On a low-end laptop, a model-specific screen plus labour can approach the value of the machine, and we will tell you when that is the case instead of taking the job.
